FSI - 22U (Multi Spring Unbalance Mechanical Seal)

FSI – 22U (Multi Spring Unbalanced / Balanced Mechanical Seal) series are multiple springs unbalanced/balanced Mechanical Seal developed for universal applications. It is independent of the direction of rotation, torque transmission from retainer shell to dynamic ring is done through drive lugs, their compact design permits their use in all types of centrifugal pumps and all components are held together by a snap ring which helps in easier installation & removal. As all parts are interchangeable, one can convert this series FSI – 22U (Multi Spring Unbalanced / Balanced Mechanical Seal) by changing only the dynamic ring & the secondary seal, this principle is ideal for stock rationalization, these seals are comfortable to use in a wide range of application.

Our Multi Spring Unbalanced Seals are designated as FSI 22B for the unbalanced Versions with 'O' Ring & PTFE wedge respectively. Shaft fretting is minimized due to lower spring loads provided through wedge or 'O' Rings, occupies less stuffing box area due to its narrow cross-section & compact design. These Multi Spring Unbalanced Seals can be easily assemble or dismantled through circlip provided & cab be change to Balance version of its type merely by changing the carbon face only & can be provided with single, double or tandem arrangement worth external seal support systems & devices.
